Literature: novels read to class. Reading practice daily.

Comprehension as above with Extension work.
Grammar Antonyms, eponyms, figures of speech, onomatopoeia, metaphors, similies.
Spelling continue with weekly lists of words with common elements using sentences.
Creative reports, story writing, use of stimulus passage, poetry talks.

Nelson English Units 9
- 12 Building on the previous terms with a particular emphasis on poetry, studying a Shakespeare play and a topic on the writer.
