Job Vacancies Inspection Report

Imaginative Play

The girls are given the opportunity to use their imagination through role-play in the home corner, dressing up or playing with small world toys, such as the dolls house or the farmyard.

Media and Materials

They work imaginatively with materials and tools to present their work in two and three dimensions. Every girl is able to use a wide range of resources with which she can express her ideas and communicate her feelings.

For Example:
Painting, Cooking, Junk Modelling, Printing, Cutting and Sticking, Clay Modelling

Music

Music is another way in which the girls are encouraged to express themselves. We use percussion instruments, rhymes and songs on a regular basis within the Nursery group. One of the school's music teachers visits the Nursery each week for specialist lessons in rhythm and percussion.

Girls are also given the opportunity to explore their creative abilities during dance and movement lessons.
